The Duet by R. S. Grey!!

The Duet by R. S. Grey

When 27-year-old pop sensation Brooklyn Heart steps in front of a microphone, her love songs enchant audiences worldwide. But when it comes to her own love life, the only spell she’s under is a dry one.

So when her label slots her for a Grammy performance with the sexy and soulful Jason Monroe, she can’t help but entertain certain fantasies... those in which her G-string gets more play than her guitars'.

Only one problem. Jason is a lyrical lone wolf that isn’t happy about sharing the stage—nor his ranch—with the sassy singer. But while it may seem like a song entitled ‘Jason Monroe Is an Arrogant Ho’ basically writes itself, their label and their millions of fans are expecting recording gold...

They’re expecting The Duet.

Audience: 18+

Review:
Adorable and Hilarious!!! I was laughing out loud the entire book!!!  I have yet to find a book of R. S. Grey's that I don't love!!! The duet is a must read! You won't want to put it down!! <3 I LOVE the bond between Brooklyn and Cammie! It made me think of my little sister the whole time! They have such a fun and supportive relationship through the whole book! Parties, hot guys, music, and a city girl in a country setting with plenty of laughable moments.  You'll love it!

A standalone romance novel published by Montlake Romance By: New York Times Bestselling Authors Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward Release Date: Tuesday, November 6, 2018 SYNOPSIS: It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress.  Something blue.  I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.”  Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true.  The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there. Because I’ve since found out something else about Mr. Starry-Eyed.  He’s arrogant, cynical, and demanding. I should know. Thanks to a twist of fate, he’s my new boss. But that’s not going to stop me from...

Happy Banned Books Week readers! Usually, I don't think too much about banned books.  I have such a deep love for the written word that it never occurs to me that someone, somewhere could possibly take offense to the beautiful words these brilliant minds have shared with us.  The theme of this week however has forced me to stop for a second and think, "Where would I be without my books y'all?!" Emma and some of her favorite banned books :) One of my all time favorite books, FAHRENHEIT 451 by Ray Bradbury is not only a banned book, but it is also an insightful and deep commentary on censorship (how's that for irony eh?).  I was "fortunate" enough to read this book in high school.  I say "fortunate" because I know in my heart how blessed I was to study literature in school, however I struggled with the forced nature of reading created by needing to prove I had learned something from the material.  By the time I got to my Senior year when ...
