Model Spy (The Specialists #1) by Shannon Greenland
Teen genius Kelly James is in a lot of hot water. A whiz with computers, she agreed to help her college RA, David, uncover some top-secret information. After all, she doesn't have many friends and David has always been nice to her. It doesn't hurt that he's supercute and irresistible, too. All she has to do is hack into the government's main computer system.
But a few hours later, her whole life changes. She is caught and taken in for questioning, only this isn't your run-of-the-mill arrest. Rather than serve a juvenile detention sentence, she accepts the option to change her name and enlist in a secret government spy agency that trains teen agents to go undercover. As if that wasn't overwhelming enough, she discovers that David works for this agency as well!
And before she even begins to understand what is going on, she's sent on her first mission as an undercover model. And who better to partner with than David himself!
Review:
Filled with spies, family bonding, smart young people, and a bit of lingering romance this book will hold onto you until the end<3. It's laugh out loud funny through and through with tons of moments mixed in to keep you on the edge of your seat. This is a book that will leave you begging for more, but luckily there's more for you to devour. Must read<3

Down to the Wire (The Specialists #2) by Shannon Greenland
GiGi is back, this time teaming up with electronics specialist Frankie, aka Wirenut, for their next mission. Wirenut has an uncanny knack for breaking into the highest-level security systems that stump even the experts. Which is precisely why he was recruited by the Specialists. So when wealthy entrepreneur Octavias Zorba hires the Specialists to recover a stolen neurotoxin, the head of the Specialists is sure that Wirenut is perfect for the job. But there’s a catch. The computer-coded hints that will lead to the neurotoxin are hidden in a few precious artifacts. And when these hints are found, there is limited time to get them decoded or they will disappear forever. But as GiGi and Wirenut begin their mission, they suddenly find themselves on a fast-paced hunt for the criminal, with time quickly running out….
Review:
I loved getting to see more of GiGi's story, but also getting to know Wirenut a lot more than we got to see in book one! I loved the character development and the slow reveals from start to finish. There's a hint of mystery as you try to figure out what's going to happen and what had already happened. With a few darker moments it still has all the same aspects as book one making love the characters more and more as you learn more about them <3

The Winning Element (The Specialists #3) by Shannon Greenland
Give me a...boom?!

With two successful missions under her belt, GiGi is finally feeling comfortable and confident with the Specialists. But then she learns about Eduardo Villaneuva, a notorious chemical smuggler currently at large. Not only is he a present danger, but he was responsible for the deaths of GiGi's parents. The government has been trying to track him down for years, and with GiGi's fierce determination (and TL's help), the Specialists are hired to capture him. And this time, GiGi's in charge of the mission. Only, she can't do this alone. She needs Beaker's chemistry expertise. But when their cover has to be cheerleaders at a national cheerleading competition, Goth-girl Beaker is not too pleased.
With personality conflicts, mission challenges, and the demanding schedule of the cheerleading competition, Beaker and GiGi find it difficult to focus on the task at hand. But with all that's at stake, can they put these issues aside and apprehend Eduardo, or will GiGi's opportunity to stop him be blown to bits?
Review:
Oh man! The cheerleading aspect of the storyline was Amazing! There were tons of moments that had my laughing. Especially putting those two characters together to accomplish this task. I loved getting to see GiGi and Beaker hash it out and the outcome that followed. There were still plenty of intense moments of what's going to happen next! PLUS it has a great twist at the end of the book that will leave you begging to read the next!

Native Tongue (The Specialists #4) by Shannon Greenland
GiGi is back again and on a brandnew mission in the fourth book in this original series Lovable GiGi is pairing up with expert linguist Darren, aka Parrot, on a mission to South America. When a centuries-old vase is found in a cave full of hieroglyphics, it is discovered that this vase was important to at least fifteen different North American and South American Indian tribes. And now all fifteen nations want it back. They are meeting in Rutina, South America, to decide who gets the vase. Enter the Specialists, and Parrot who will go as the official translator. And when no one can decode the ancient cave writings, not even the elders of each nation, GiGi comes to the rescue. Of course there's a hitch. One of the tribal chiefs attending the meeting in Rutina is connected to Parrot's past in a very bad way. The question is, will Parrot be able to face his past and complete the mission, or will the vase and the fate of the Native American nation fall into the wrong hands?
Review:
I don't think there will ever be one that I don't love! I laughed through the beginning and middle. I was on the edge of my seat all the way to the end! I loved getting to know Parrot, seeing his past, present, and having GiGi push him through this mission! <3 Quirk was adorable and I love him <3 Just read the whole series because it's amazing and you will love the whole thing <3
