The Cabin by Natasha Preston

The Cabin by Natasha Preston

They think they’re invincible.

They think they can do and say whatever they want. They think there are no consequences. They’ve left me no choice. It’s time for them to pay for their sins.

A weekend partying at a remote cabin is just what Mackenzie needs. She can’t wait to let loose with her friends. But a crazy night of fun leaves two of them dead—murdered.

With no signs of a forced entry or struggle, suspicion turns to the five survivors. Someone isn’t telling the truth. And Mackenzie’s first mistake? Assuming the killing is over…

Review:

I really loved The Cellar by Natasha Preston, which is what made me want to read ALL of her books. I get obsessed once I love an author, and it makes me want to read everything they've written. Plus The Cabin looked right up my alley! Murder, mystery, remote cabin = yes!
I was a bit disappointed with the story line when I got into it. The remote cabin is part of the story, but it's a small section. Whereas I was hoping, I guess from the description, that it was going to all take place there. It didn't. Oh well. There were also a few plot holes that sort of took me out of the story a few times. It could be that I just notice way more I need to but anyways.
She did a really good job with keeping you guessing on who did it throughout the book. I didn't necessarily love the ending, it leaves it open so she could possibly do a sequel, but I don't know how that would play out. But also they way everything was set up at the end led me to believe it wouldn't really work out the way said person thinks....I would still recommend because someone else might love the book completely. It's fine to be different! :)

Hate Notes By Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward Cover Reveal!!

A standalone romance novel published by Montlake Romance By: New York Times Bestselling Authors Vi Keeland & Penelope Ward Release Date: Tuesday, November 6, 2018 SYNOPSIS: It all started with a mysterious blue note sewn into a wedding dress.  Something blue.  I’d gone to sell my own unworn bridal gown at a vintage clothing store. That’s when I found another bride’s “something old.”  Stitched into the lining of a fabulously feathered design was the loveliest message I’d ever read: Thank you for making all of my dreams come true.  The name embossed on the blue stationery: Reed Eastwood, obviously the most romantic man who ever lived. I also discovered he’s the most gorgeous. If only my true-love fantasies had stopped there. Because I’ve since found out something else about Mr. Starry-Eyed.  He’s arrogant, cynical, and demanding. I should know. Thanks to a twist of fate, he’s my new boss. But that’s not going to stop me from...

The Safest Lies By Megan Miranda!!!!!

Alright alright! I know, but this is the first time I've read a book where the main character has my name. So obviously I had to read it, and I'm so glad I did! I'm really glad I liked it soooo much too. The Safest Lies by Megan Miranda Can fear be inherited? Kelsey has lived most of her life in a shadow of fear, raised to see danger everywhere. Her mother hasn’t set foot outside their front door in seventeen years, since she escaped from her kidnappers with nothing but her attacker’s baby growing inside her—Kelsey. A few days later, she arrives home to face her greatest fear: her mother is missing. She and her mother have drilled for all contingencies—except this one. Luckily, Ryan is as skilled at emergency rescues as Kelsey is at escape and evasion.  To have a chance at a...
