The Cabin by Natasha Preston

The Cabin by Natasha Preston

They think they’re invincible.

They think they can do and say whatever they want. They think there are no consequences. They’ve left me no choice. It’s time for them to pay for their sins.

A weekend partying at a remote cabin is just what Mackenzie needs. She can’t wait to let loose with her friends. But a crazy night of fun leaves two of them dead—murdered.

With no signs of a forced entry or struggle, suspicion turns to the five survivors. Someone isn’t telling the truth. And Mackenzie’s first mistake? Assuming the killing is over…

Review:

I really loved The Cellar by Natasha Preston, which is what made me want to read ALL of her books. I get obsessed once I love an author, and it makes me want to read everything they've written. Plus The Cabin looked right up my alley! Murder, mystery, remote cabin = yes!
I was a bit disappointed with the story line when I got into it. The remote cabin is part of the story, but it's a small section. Whereas I was hoping, I guess from the description, that it was going to all take place there. It didn't. Oh well. There were also a few plot holes that sort of took me out of the story a few times. It could be that I just notice way more I need to but anyways.
She did a really good job with keeping you guessing on who did it throughout the book. I didn't necessarily love the ending, it leaves it open so she could possibly do a sequel, but I don't know how that would play out. But also they way everything was set up at the end led me to believe it wouldn't really work out the way said person thinks....I would still recommend because someone else might love the book completely. It's fine to be different! :)

The only thing about me that's a size zero is the filter on my mouth. I've got a big personality, a big rack, and a big number on the scale. And I'm perfectly fine with that. But when some random guy suggests I might not be eating alone if I'd ordered a salad instead of a hamburger I'm shocked silent, which is a feat, trust me. That brings us to one sexy fireman named Frankie Hartigan. He's hot. He's funny… And he's just apologized for being late for our "date" then glared at the fat-shaming jerk. Next thing I know, he's sitting down and ordering himself dinner. I have no problem telling him I don't need ...
