On the day she was abducted, Annie O’Sullivan, a 32-year-old realtor, had three goals—sell a house, forget about a recent argument with her mother, and be on time for dinner with her ever-patient boyfriend. The open house is slow, but when her last visitor pulls up in a van as she's about to leave, Annie thinks it just might be her lucky day after all.
Still Missing interweaves the year Annie spent as the captive of a psychopath in a remote mountain cabin, which unfold through sessions with her psychiatrist, with a second narrative following the events after her escape—her struggle to piece her shattered life back together and the ongoing police investigation into the identity of her captor.
Still Missing is a shocking, visceral, brutal and beautifully crafted novel.

Review:
Chevy Stevens doesn't disappoint. The first novel I read by her was Never Knowing and it was Amazing so intense. I finally picked this one up to read last night and I couldn't put it down. I mean I had to take breaks because it is that intense, but I still had the urge to pick it right back up and find out more. This book is told in present day and her talking to her psychiatrist. Each session is more intense than the last, and I know I keep using that word! But boy is it ever INTENSE!!! It made me angry, sad, smirk, and continued with the cycle. It's an emotional rollercoaster for Annie and the reader. I took breaks in reading to rub my face and calm my nerves but picked it up a second later. She transports you to this terrible time this character had to endure. Everything in it feels real. You feel, hear, and smell what she does. You feel her heartbreak day after day. AND to top it all off it has an even more messed up but perfect ending. Definitely a must read!! <3
