Hold You Against Me (Stripped #4) By Skye Warren
Once upon a time the daughter of a mafia king fell in love with a foot soldier.
This fairy tale didn’t have a happy ending.
My sister and I barely managed to escape alive, and we’ve lived in relative hiding ever since. I’m safe now, but I can never forget the boy who gave his life to save mine.
Except there’s a chance that he’s still alive. And he’s fighting a war.
Even knowing the risks, I have to find him. I have to find some way to protect him, the way he protected me. But he isn’t the boy I left behind. He’s a violent man. A criminal. And he’s been waiting for me—the final pawn in a dark game of survival and love.
Review:
Okay, Okay! I know I read this completely out of order, but to be fair, I read the back of the book and couldn't NOT read it! (I will go back and read the others now) It was AMAZING. (it felt a little quick at the end, but still amazing) Some parts had me cringing while others I was cheering. The mystery you have to unfold had me wanting to look at the book with one eye while trying to pull myself together to keep going and find out. I'm one to always jump to the worst when there's a mystery (constantly guessing). I love the story and I definitely want to go back and read the first three and then the last book. (if I can control myself to read them in order) It's a must read! What are you waiting for?!?!
