Review:
This book is captivating. From each chapter bringing you a step closer to understanding Olivia and the characters surrounding her. I couldn't stop reading, which became challenging in the break room at work during emotional scenes! I love how the author brings you back to different stages of her life while still keeping you engaged on every aspect of her life.
This book is hard to read at times, but it does include trigger warnings at the beginning. I believe it truly is an important story, with tons of raw emotion and storytelling.
These are topics that need to talked about, and Michelle does a great job at looking at all aspects during the different stages of abuse and recovery. <3
Author Bio:
Michelle Jester lives in Greenwell Springs, Louisiana with her husband, high school sweetheart and retired Master Sergeant. Together they have a son and daughter. She is a hopeless romantic and has been writing poems and stories for as long as she can remember.
One of her prize possessions is a bracelet with only a yellow, Rubber Duckie charm on it; which she wears every day to remind her to enjoy the fun and happy things of life!
