Confess by Colleen Hoover
Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.
For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover Owen is keeping major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.
The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

Review:
By the first few pages I was already crying. The love of these young kids is pure and heart wrenching. <3 When we jump ahead to present day, we are left with some secrets to unfold, and man are they some great secrets. Owen Gentry is mysterious and has some secrets of his own. These secrets leave you begging to be revealed! The art work is GORGEOUS! Danny O'Connor, the artist, is amazing. I'm obviously not an art major, so I don't know a lot, but the layers in his paintings take my breath away. I seem to find more and more in the painting that I hadn't seen the first time or fifth time I had looked at it. I can't wait to order some for my home. The concept of the confessions is amazing, I loved it so much. The fact that the confessions she uses in the book are confessions from real people, makes it even more amazing to read. I loved the idea of Owen getting confessions and using them to inspire his next painting, and then keeping the confession with the painting as a title. All in all I LOVED this book. The final secret had me crying again of course, but it's worth it 100%.
